LAG Halloween Box

No hocus pocus here, you’re in for a real treat with this one! So round up your ghoulfriends, sip on some boos, and let’s jump into all of this Halloween goodness.

The first item in the box is a body spray in the scent, Eye of Newt. Misty’s scent description is “a luscious blend of pink berries, bergamot, pikake, musk, sugar cane, and tonka beans.”

As soon as I sprayed this on, I closed my eyes and was instantly a child again. This reminded me so much of those old Flava Craze chapsticks, (I haven’t checked in years, so who knows maybe they’re still sold in stores.) You know, the colorful ones that made you wanna eat them? Allow me to refresh your memory. I love this spray!

The next item is a whipped soap in the scent, Wing of Bat. I hadn’t used this product from LAG before but I liked it. It’s a soap that can really be used for anything. I briefly used it for hand washing, but it can double as a body wash, or even triple as a shaving cream! What makes it so versatile is its lightweight, whipped formula. As far as smells go, I’d say it’s one of those “manly” scents. I wasn’t always a fan of them but after working at B&BW, they’ve really grown on me. Wing of Bat is a warm, musky blend with citrus highlights. Misty also describes it as having “exotic musk sweetened with golden amber and black vanilla at the base of the scent.”

Another item you can expect to find in your box is a cuticle balm in the scent, Frogs Breath. I gotta admit, the name really turns me off. If there’s one thing to know about me, it’s that I’m DEATHLY afraid of frogs. I’m a grown, 21 year old adult but the sight of a little hopper still stops me dead in my tracks and gives me noodle legs.. and sometimes tears ensue! 😖

But even my biggest fear couldn’t keep me away from LAG’s cuticle balms! I recently spent the last five weeks nursing my nails back to health and LAG’s balms played a key role in my success. The formula on these is just hard to beat. They’re lightweight and moisturizing, but don’t leave your cuticles feeling greasy. Frogs Breath is also my favorite scent of the box, go figure. It’s got top notes of apricot, peach, and blackberries, while also having notes of mandarin, rose, and a hint of woodsy musk. I have a hard time believing a frog’s breath really smells this good, but it’s as close as I’ll ever get to finding out. So I’ll take it!

Almost nearing the end here, the next item is a lotion in the scent Witches Brew. It’s got aromatic blends of Japanese grapefruit and mandarin, notes of Georgia peach, purple plums, and Valencia grapes, all of which sit on a base of Nubian musk. It’s a jam packed scent, fitting for the fall season and the lotion is a great moisturizer for the cooler weather. Now if you’re like me, you might be missing the cuticle oil for this box. However, I promise this next product completely makes up for it!

Double, double, toil and trouble; Fire burn and cauldron bubble.

The last and final item from LAG’s Halloween box is this magical Witches Cauldron bath bomb. This cauldron holds 5.5 oz of product. There’s no way I was going to use it all at once for the sake of a picture. So I ground up the top layer and sprayed a little water. Even after a minute and a half of bubbling, it barely made a dent in the container. There’s SO much product in here, it’s amazing! You can definitely get multiple uses out of it.. if you want to. With something as cute as this though, I’d completely understand if you just dunked it in all at once. I mean, look how tempting it is.

It wouldn’t be a Halloween box if this wasn’t releasing on Friday the 13th, so Misty’s doing it right. They’re being sold for $21.75 plus shipping. As always, boxes are limited and scents are exclusive. So set those alarms and don’t miss out! Trick or treat yo self, the choice is yours!
